SUPPORT OASIS ALL WEEK LONG
Happy Native American Heritage Month
While we give Thanks today, it's important we also honor what this holiday represents and uplift Native American people and culture during this month, and always. Thanksgiving is not only about gratitude, but about grief of what was lost at the hands of imperialist powers.
Oasis acknowledges that we occupy the unceded Ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula, and we further acknowledge that the greater Bay Area is the ancestral territory of the Miwok, Yokuts, and Patwin, as well as other Ohlone peoples.
In honoring this history and heritage, join us Saturday 11/25 for Indigenous Drag Brilliance, hosted by Landa Lakes.
Bringing together both established and emerging drag performers together in Yelamu (the original Ohlone name for San Francisco) in honor of Native American Heritage Day, you are welcome to join us for an evening of politics and fun. Landa Lakes posed the question what does it mean to really decolonize drag, come see the answer to this question.

Giving Tuesday
On this #GivingTuesday, please consider making a donation to support OasisArts. OasisArts is our nonprofit organization dedicated to raising the impact of queer arts both locally and worldwide.
A donation to OasisArts means elevating diversity and bring vibrant art to the community by embracing participation across generations, cultural backgrounds, and individual expressions.
A donation to OasisArts gets us further towards advancements like:
- More budget for more ASL interpreted cabarets & nightclub events
- Inclusion of live-streaming for more events to increase accessibility to our content for our disabled or chronically ill community
- Funding performance opportunities that uplift the voices of the historically suppressed, disenfranchised, and forgotten LGBTQ and BIPOC community by providing a platform to present artistic expression.
-Supporting the day-to-day operations of our soundstage/production studio which allows access and support to local independent filmmakers
