Stop Asian Hate

We wanted to pause for a moment and reflect on what's been circulating in the news as of late - the prejudices and attacks on our Asian community. It's important for us all to speak up and speak out against hate within our own circles as well as beyond. OASIS is focused on being a place of inclusivity and safety, and even though we aren't currently open, we're committed to continuing to work on how to be the best clubhouse possible to our queer community.

We applaud all of you who attended the Castro to Chinatown march and recent Chinatown Pride. We also encourage you to consider donating to Red Canary Song, an organization that supports Asian and Migrant Sex Workers, and is directly using donations to support the families of the eight lives lost in Atlanta. We were happy to raise enough funds at Snaxx's birthday show to donate a portion of our proceeds to this very worthy cause. You can also learn more about how to help and where to donate at Stop AAPI Hate.

If there are any upcoming events, organizations, or businesses we should uplift in our next newsletter or social media posts, please reach out to us.
